A quiet, but strange laugh was her only response towards the stranger’s word. How was she? And how did the knew them ? Whatever, it wasn’t her business anyway. Evelyn smiled lightly, never thinking too much. The answer was pretty obvious, wasn’t it? “Easy. I’d kill Noel.”
Why, people would ask. Her head bowed a tiny bit, blowing out a heavy sigh as she stayed quiet for a while, memories flooding her mind – she immediately shut themselves away. She didn’t want to remember, she couldn’t remember. Noel was once her one and true love, but after that day, things wouldn’t ever be fixed. All the love she once had for him was smashed into tiny pieces and the remaining shards pierced through her heart every day, as only if hearing his name would make her utterly sick. “For Alec is the one I love the most. I wouldn’t ever hurt him, let alone kill him. But Noel–…? No. That’s just… Cruel.”
Her hands shot to her face, tears burning from her eyes as all her self control was lost, sobs echoing through the room as she didn’t pay attention to the stranger near her. “I hate him… I hate him the most. How could he even do it…? Fake his own death? Wow, that was –…” no more words were needed as she allowed her anger to fully overcome her, fingers tugging at auburn hair with the smallest strength she had left. “I might be over reacting but I don’t really care… I just don’t want to suffer anymore. Daniel and I went through a lot of bad things because of him, so… I just want to be happy.” her voice died a little and those cold words finally escaped her mouth. “Even if he comes to suffer seeing me happier than ever with Alec.”
